Music was in my life at a very young age. I was raised in a loving, Christian home but when I was 11 years old, my life changed when my mother died at the age of 43 years old; leaving me empty and lonely and very angry with God for taking her away from me.

I looked for acceptance in all the wrong places. I made some bad choices and was heading down a dangerous path. I still always knew that God loved me and was there, but I had to get over my anger and confusion about my mother’s death. I reconfirmed my faith and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior as a young adult and worked hard to get my life where He wanted me to be.

I joined a rock band that became quite successful locally. We worked the whole nightclub, casino, and USO tour circuits. I got married and was blessed with a beautiful daughter, who has touched my life in a way I could never have imagined.

As far as our music, there always seemed to be something missing. My husband and I had been working together and had been questioning for some time what to do with the gifts God had given us through His Grace and Mercy. We wanted to use these gifts to share His word and His message and witness/reach others through music. God set the stage and placed people in our lives that had the same vision and focus, and CrossRoads was started.

With the dark times we are in and the desperate need for our brothers and sisters to be exposed to the word; we have made our commitment to “suit up” with the holy armor of God and stand in truth and love in God’s Army to defeat the evil one!

Ephesians 1:3-14 – “Chosen”

In Christ we have also obtained an inheritance, having been destined according to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to his counsel and will (Ephesians 1:11)
